Dear bAgwathALs,
About our Journal:
The sarangathi journal is an effort to bring quality articles on Srivaishnavam based on poorvachAryALs vyaakyaanam. One of the the main purpose of this journal is to present the fundamentals on Srivaishnavam and concept of saranagathi in simple words and help everyone understand the same. While delivering such fundamentals every care is taken to adequately include topics such as Guru pArampariaym, concept of saranAgathi itself and related srisukthis of poorvachAryALs and other Srivaishnava fabric such as agamAs and Srisukthis and slOkams. A series on thala purAnam may also feature in an attempt to help readers known about our divya desams (temples). Extensive research efforts are made to present and as well critically review these artciles so far.
Feedback recieved in the past:
Over the last several months numerous feedback has been received on the sarangathi articles and discussions were carried out one to one outside the journal. This has not only helped us keep our focus more firmly but also enabled us to include more on any specific requirement from bAgwathALs. The main purpose of this feedback page is for the readers to critically view our articles and present your views. This will also help us as a check for us not to stray from our path.
Your participation:
We not only need your feedback, but also request interested readers to write to us of any article that is related to Sri Vaishnavam for our review and publication. While we encourage everyone to write such, we also want everyone to take care to include pramAnam for such articles from poorvachAryAL vyaakyaanams as required.
Future changes to contents:
We intend to promote a question and answer sessions in the journal wherein questions from readers are answered by learned scholars. For some questions we may attempt to obtain answers from our acahryaaLS and seers directly from India as well. Thus, please also write to us as to whether the current format of the journal caters the readers expectations to learn Sri vaishnavam and sarangathi principles. Please also suggest us any new ideas you may have for inclusion in the contents of the journal that will help us in our endeavour to bring out the essence of Srivaishnavam principles.
